Lu Yen-hsun

(盧彥勳; born August 14, 1983 in Taoyuan, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese professional tennis player. He goes by the nickname Rendy. As of November 1, 2010, Lu is ranked #33 in the world and #1 in Asia. His favorite surface is hardcourt.

Ang Lee

(李安; born October 23, 1954) is a Taiwanese American film director.[1] Lee has directed a diverse set of films such as Eat Drink Man Woman (1994), Sense and Sensibility (1995), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), Hulk (2003), and Brokeback Mountain (2005), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Director.

Kevin Lin

(林義傑, November 19, 1976) is an ultramarathon runner from Taipei, Taiwan. Living in Taipei, Kevin is one of the most well known endurance athletes in Asia. Kevin together with Charlie Engle and Ray Zahab became the first modern runner to cross the Sahara Desert on February 21, 2007. He had agreed to work with the H2O Africa project and be part of the first team of runners to cross the Sahara from coast to coast. The expedition was filmed edited into a documentary, Running the Sahara , narrated by Matt Damon and released in November 2007 with the logistics support of Sam Rutherford at www.prepare2go.com. The Running the Sahara project began in Senegal, went through Mauritania, Mali, Niger, and Libya, before culminating in Egypt. A full-time graduate student, he won his first ever 150-mile (241-kilometer) race across the Atacama Desert in Chile in 2004.
